This Irrigation Zone Skid is a fully integrated, turnkey fertigation system designed for controlled environment agriculture (CEA), vertical farming, and commercial greenhouse nutrient delivery applications. The skid includes the following major components:

Fertilizer Pump & Drive

A 50 GPM fertilizer pump paired with a dedicated variable frequency drive (VFD) provides precise, adjustable flow control for nutrient solution delivery. The VFD enables operators to dial in exact flow rates to match crop stage, zone demand, and recipe requirements while reducing energy consumption and mechanical wear compared to fixed-speed operation.

System Pump & Drive

A 30 GPM system pump with its own dedicated VFD handles primary water circulation and distribution throughout the irrigation zone. Variable speed control ensures consistent pressure and flow across the delivery network, accommodating fluctuations in zone demand without the need for manual adjustment.

Sample Pump with Flow Switch

An integrated sample pump with flow switch enables real-time nutrient solution sampling and monitoring. This allows operators to verify EC, pH, and nutrient concentrations at the zone level, supporting data-driven fertigation management and ensuring crop-specific nutrient targets are consistently met.

Mass Transfer Media Vessel

The mass transfer media vessel facilitates gas-liquid contact for dissolved oxygen management or pH adjustment within the nutrient solution. This is a critical component in advanced CEA operations where precise control of dissolved gas levels directly impacts root health, nutrient uptake efficiency, and overall crop performance.

2" Semi-Automatic Screen Filter

A 2-inch semi-automatic screen filter protects downstream irrigation components — including emitters, drippers, and spray nozzles — from particulate contamination. The semi-automatic backflush capability reduces maintenance labor and ensures consistent filtration performance without frequent manual intervention.
