Delta Hydronics HydroMarine Titanium Chiller / Heat Pump Evaporator & Pump Skid - Hayward 1.5 HP 3-Ph Pumps, Flanged PVC Manifolds | Bozeman, MT

Delta Hydronics HydroMarine evaporator and pump skid, the water side of a split titanium chiller / heat pump system built for aquatic and hydroponic water temperature control. The skid was never installed and still has its wood shipping bracing and red protective caps in place.

WHAT IS ON THE SKID (per photos)

- HydroMarine titanium evaporators: Grade 2 titanium tube coils in insulated Schedule 80 PVC shells with marine-grade aluminum jackets and removable flanged tops for cleaning. Three evaporator barrels are visible; the one photographed is tagged #3.

- Hayward self-priming circulation pumps with strainer baskets, one per circuit, each with a Century 1.5 HP TEFC motor (model SP3215Z1DFC, 230/460V, 3-phase, 60 Hz, 3450 RPM, 1.60 service factor, 6.2/3.1 A). Motors are tagged 460V.

- Flanged Schedule 80 PVC supply and return manifolds with open flanged connections for field piping

- Butterfly isolation valves, Y-strainers, check valves, flow meters, air bleeds, sensor wells and a flow switch

- Corrosion-resistant FRP grating base with stainless evaporator mounts

HOW IT IS USED

Each evaporator pairs with an outdoor heat pump condensing unit through a field-installed refrigerant set. HydroMarine systems of this size use Carrier Gemini 38AUQ R-410A condensing units; per Delta Hydronics literature the 7.5-ton heat pump model handles 80-120 GPM per evaporator at under 5 psi pressure drop and controls water temperature to within 0.1 degree, with a recommended minimum setpoint of 50 F. Applications include aquaculture and RAS, hydroponic nutrient and irrigation water chilling or heating, aquariums and zoos, and process water.

NOT INCLUDED / TO VERIFY

- Condensing units are not part of this lot.

- Refrigerant piping, TXV / sight glass / filter drier assemblies and the digital temperature controllers are not confirmed in the photos. Buyer should verify what is present.

- Evaporator count, tonnage per circuit and connection sizes should be confirmed by inspection. No Delta Hydronics data plate was legible in the photos.

CONDITION

New, never installed. Stored outdoors, so expect dust, weathered wood bracing, some peeling decals and UV exposure on pipe insulation. Not filled, pressure tested or run by SecondBloom. No manufacturer warranty is offered or implied. Sold as-is, where-is.

PRICING

Delta Hydronics builds these to order and does not publish list pricing. Estimated replacement cost for the titanium evaporators, three-phase pumps, valves, manifolds and skid is about $45,000. Reserve is set at about half of that.

TERMS

FOB Bozeman, Montana. Skid can be moved with a forklift or pallet jack; buyer arranges and pays for loading and freight. All sales final, no returns. 18% buyer's premium applies. Inspection welcome by appointment.
