This lot includes one (1) LI-COR LI-250A handheld light meter complete with a LI-190 quantum sensor, padded carrying case, and original instruction manual. The LI-250A is a professional-grade portable meter that provides direct digital readout from any LI-COR light sensor with a BNC connector. It displays instantaneous sensor output or 15-second averages and automatically selects the sensitivity range for optimal accuracy and resolution. Measurement units include umol s-1 m-2, lux, klux, and W/m2. The high-quality amplifier provides automatic zeroing, excellent linearity (0.05%), and typical accuracy of 0.4% of reading at 25C. Calibration multipliers for two sensors can be stored in memory. Powered by a single 9V battery with over 150 hours of continuous operation. The included LI-190 quantum sensor measures photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) in the 400-700 nm waveband using a silicon photodiode with glass optical filters, providing accurate readings under natural sunlight, artificial lighting, or mixed sources. NIST-traceable calibration (sensor calibration status unknown, recalibration recommended). The LI-250A meter measures 5.5" x 3" x 1.5" and weighs 0.57 lbs. Ideal for greenhouse management, growth chamber verification, LED grow light testing, canopy light mapping, and any controlled environment agriculture application.
