Vandana tubeless vacuum seeder made by Growing Systems Inc. of Milwaukee, WI, in great condition and only used for a few years. It sows an entire tray in a single drop. A variable vacuum holds the seed on a template that matches the tray size, so the operator can check seed placement visually before releasing it into the tray. The seeder handles seed from fine (petunia) to coarse (melon, marigold) and has a variable-speed vibrator, automatic reverse-air template cleaning, and adjustment for trays or pots from 1" to 4" high. It is mounted on a galvanized table cart with casters and a shelf below. This seeder includes seeding plates for 200-count Grodan rockwool and for TO Plastics 162 trays, and it comes with the OEM Craftsman twin-stack portable air compressor that runs the automatic seed release and the pneumatic tray stop.
