This listing is for a Daikin MPS030F 30-Ton Rooftop Packaged HVAC System, currently installed above the Processing Room of a large indoor cultivation facility.
The unit is part of Daikin’s Maverick II series — engineered for high-airflow, heavy-duty climate control with full gas heat, economizer, and BACnet-ready MicroTech® controls.
It delivers approximately 12,000 CFM of conditioned air, designed to manage high latent loads in post-harvest or product-handling spaces where moisture and heat fluctuate.
With a nominal cooling capacity of 30 tons (≈ 360,000 BTU/hr) and a 12.6 SEER / 10.2 EER rating, this model provides efficient part-load performance via three independent scroll compressors.
The system uses R-410A refrigerant, features a direct-expansion (DX) coil with 276 MBH total cooling / 257 MBH sensible, and operates at 2.0 in w.c. external static pressure to push air through large duct systems typical in cultivation facilities.
A gas-heat section provides year-round temperature stability, while 9,000 CFM of exhaust capacity with dual 1 HP fans maintains clean-air turnover in wash or processing zones.
Electrical requirements are 460 V, 3-phase, 60 Hz, with a Minimum Circuit Ampacity (MCA) of 53 A and Maximum Overcurrent Protection (MOCP) of 70 A, rated for 5 kAIC short-circuit protection.
The unit includes factory-installed options such as a non-fused disconnect, GFCI convenience outlet, economizer section, phase-failure monitor, insulated compressor blankets, power exhaust, variable-speed supply fans, temperature/humidity sensors, and VFD panels pre-wired at the factory.
Estimated weight is approximately 2,750 lbs, allowing manageable roof crane removal.
The cabinet and panels are heavy-gauge steel with weather protection, and the access doors are intact.
Decommissioning Notes:
Unit remains installed. Buyer is responsible for full disconnection, gas-line demo and capping, rigging, and removal. Ductwork and associated piping connected to the RTU may be removed.
