A 40 cal ensemble is what lets a qualified worker approach that equipment at all. WHO BUYS THIS Electrical contractors needing a spare or second-man kit, industrial maintenance departments, utility and solar crews, electrical training programs and trade schools, and safety departments building out a PPE locker. CONDITION AND SAFETY DISCLOSURE - READ BEFORE BIDDING This is USED personal protective equipment and it is being sold as a used article, not as certified in-service PPE. Specifically: - The garments show soiling, wrinkling, lint and general field wear. They have not been laundered by SecondBloom. - SecondBloom has NOT arc-tested, inspected, or certified any item in this kit. Arc ratings quoted above are the manufacturer's original markings, not a current certification. - The face shield is polycarbonate dated 7/2023 and has not been evaluated for scratches, crazing or UV degradation. Never use a cracked or scratched arc shield. - The rubber insulating gloves are NOT accompanied by a current test certificate. Per OSHA 1910.137 and ASTM D120/F496, rubber insulating gloves must be electrically retested before first issue and at least every six months in service. The buyer MUST have these gloves tested by a qualified laboratory - or replace them - before any electrical use. Treat them as untested until proven otherwise. - Buyer is solely responsible for inspecting, laundering, testing and qualifying this equipment against NFPA 70E, OSHA and their own employer safety program before putting any of it into service. Sizes are not marked in the photos - request the garment labels before bidding if fit matters.
